— William Floyd Keef

Funeral service for William Floyd Keef, age 94 of Chickasha, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, in the Sharon Evangel Church. Rev. Cecil James will officiate.

William Floyd was born the son of Arthur Tole Keef and Charlotta Brown Keef on Feb. 9, 1919, in Cement. He died on Feb. 3, 2014 in Chickasha.

Floyd moved to Amber at a young age and grew up helping on the family farm. While working the family farm, he also worked as an electrician, worked at the local feed store, worked at the cattle sale at night, and drove a road grader for Grady County. After retiring, he married Margie Miracle in February of 1988. They made their home east of Amber.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Charlotta Keef; wife, Margie Keef; four brothers, Curtis, Harace, Roff, and Buddy Keef; three sisters, Gertrude Keef, Blanche Hightower, and Lorene Keef; stepson, Roger Miracle.

Survivors include step-son and wife, Johnny and Barbara Miracle of Amber; step-son and wife, Larry and Janie Miracle of Tuttle; step-daughter, Diana Callahan of Chickasha; step-daughter and husband, Georgia and Olen Ferrell of Amber; ste- son and wife, Earl and Jeanette Miracle of Chickasha; step-daughter and husband, Sherri and Roger Bradford of Chickasha; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; a multitude of Keef and Whitehead nieces and nephews to many to be named, and many, many friends.

Interment will be in the Amber Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
