Caroll Bidwell

Funeral services for Caroll Bidwell of New Braunfels, Texas and formally of Chickasha, Ok, will be held 12:30 p.m. on  Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Braunfels, Texas.

Caroll Bidwell was born on April 8, 1932 and passed away on Jan. 6, 2014. Carol was born in Tulsa, to Carl and Frances Hebinck.

Caroll was raised as a child in Chickasha, and attended St. Joseph’s Academy and then later attended business college in Houston, Texas.

Caroll married John William “Billy” Bidwell on Oct. 29, 1976, seen in photo above, and enjoyed the rest of their lives together until his death Feb. 12, 2013. Throughout the years they lived in Houston, Baytown, Galveston, Wimberley and most recently New Braunfels, Texas. They enjoyed many travels throughout the years.

Caroll is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John William Bidwell, her father Carl Hebinck, mother Frances Langford, and son Ricky Boysen.

Survivors include daughter, Julie Rainey of Chickasha; brother, Carl L. Hebinck and wife Julia of Clearwater, Fla.; sister, BernaDean Terry of Chickasha; grandsons, Dylan Rainey and wife Lesley of Pocasset and Cody Rainey and wife Joey of Slater, Missouri; and two great grandchildren, Logan and Bowen Rainey of Slater, Missouri.  She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
