Funeral service for Mattie Elizabeth Parham, 76, of Elgin, Oklahoma will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha.

Mattie Elizabeth Parham was born March 8, 1936 in Fletcher, the daughter of Walter and Hazel (Bridges) Love.  She died April 6, 2012 in Lawton.

Mattie was a professional cook for many years.  She liked helping others and working in the yard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Parham and a son:  Ronnie Parham.

Survivors include a son:  Loran Parham and wife Debbie; five sisters: June Hollister and husband Ray of Fletcher, Sue Love of Lawton, Beatrice Lemons of Sterling, Geraldine Mansel of Elgin, Donna Clark and husband Elwood of Blanchard; two brothers: Thomas Love and wife Sandra of Bangs, Texas, Timmy Love and wife Connie of Whitefield; five grandchildren:  Scott, Eric, Kevin, Vicky and Christie; numerous nieces and nephews

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
