Beatrice McVey Charlson, 78, Rush Springs, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2007 in Chickasha.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 20, 2007, at the Rush Springs Cemetery with David Hale officiating. Services are under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

Beatrice was born Monday, June 17, 1929 in Cougar, Oklahoma, to Carl and Rose (Murlin) Topley. Beatrice attended school at Chickasha and Verden.

She lived in the Rush Springs and Chickasha area all of her life.

Beatrice married Lawerence Charlson on Sept. 27, 1948 in Chickasha, OK.

He preceded her in death on April 3, 1996. She loved to be with her children and grandchildren and attended any activities they were in. Beatrice also loved all of her various animals. She took care of and fed many of them. Beatrice was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include, Son, Ole Charlson & wife Diana of Rush Springs, OK; two Daughters, Lori Rodgers & Jeff Franklin of Blanchard, OK; Jeannie Martin & husband Barry of Rush Springs, OK; 13 Grandchildren;13 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Danny Earl Charlson; parents; brother, Benny Topley and a sister, Patsy Goddard.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or the Relay for Life.
