ROBERT MARTIN MERRELL

Robert Martin Merrell, 48, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, formerly of Chickasha, died Saturday, August 11, 2007 in a local hospital.

He was born on October 30, 1958 in Perryton, Texas.

He was an advertiser and displayer for retail stores.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Fairlawn Cemetery with Michael Oberlender officiating.

He was preceded in death by his mother, June Merrell and both sets of grandparents.

He is survived by step-daughter, Crystal Shearburn of Van Buren Arkansas; step-sons, Stephen Church of Fort Smith; Shawn Church and Michael Church, both of VanBuren; parents, father and step-mother, Billie and Betty Merrell of Chickasha, Oklahoma; sisters, Landa Ramsey of Alex, Oklahoma; and Echo Southwell of Chickasha, Oklahoma; brothers, Brent Merrell of Oklahoma City; George Durington of Lindsay, Oklahoma; and Bailey Durington of Sulphur Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Dustin and Kaylen.

He was cremated at the family’s request under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

GEORGIA ELISE BARGER

Graveside service for Georgia Elise Barger, 89, former Chickasha resident, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 17, 2007 at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Georgia Elise Barger was born July 22, 1918 and died August 14, 2007.
