CAROLYN “JOANN” CHADRICK

Funeral services for Carolyn “JoAnn” Chadrick, 59, of Chickasha will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2007, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Alice Wendling officiating.

JoAnn Chadrick was born April 1, 1948, in McAlester, Oklahoma the daughter of Lee Roy and Lucille (Cripps) Stoddard. She died August 8, 2007, at her home in Chickasha. She attended schools and graduated high school in Porterville, California.She married Charles “Chuck” Chadrick on September 21, 2004, in Wichita Falls, Texas. They had been together for 23 years prior to their marriage.

JoAnn was a hard worker, a real go getter and never slowed down. She loved everyone and tried to take care of everyone. She loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed puttering around on her farm, riding 4-wheelers, caring for her horses, hunting, going to the lake, camping, fishing, visiting the casinos, and taking long drives.

She and Chuck owned and operated the Wan Dora Bar in Chickasha for several years, where she met and made numerous friends. She was a long time member of the Eagles Lodge.

She was preceded in death by both parents.

She is survived by her husband, Chuck, of the home; two daughters and son-in-law: Trina Symons, and Gina and Mike Parham, all of Chickasha; son and daughter-in-law: Chad and Rita Chadrick, of Moore; brother, Don Cripps, of Chickasha; grandchildren: Lakan and Megan Symons, Mykayla and Bradley Parham, and Matt Chadrick; brother-in-law, Rocky Chadrick; special friends: Elaine and Jeff Calhoun, of Texas; and numerous other family and friends.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Kathryn Harbison was born December 29, 1921. She died August 8, 2007, in Chickasha.
