HAROLD PARTEE

Harold Partee passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Heritage Village Nursing Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years.

Harold was the son of Robert Lee Partee & Maudie (Bernard) Partee. He was born on January 8, 1925, in Holdenville, where he was reared and attended schools. He lived his entire life in Oklahoma, the perfect place for the activities he enjoyed most.

He loved growing a garden, okra and tomatoes in particular; he loved browsing garage sales for bargains and reselling them in his own garage sales; he loved listening to music, especially playing record albums on his record player.

Harold worked in the oilfields in the Chickasha area for many years. He lived for a while in Tecumseh, and in Cement, and for the past thirty-seven years had lived in his hometown of Holdenville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Maudie Partee, and one brother, George Partee.

He is survived by four children: Emma Lou Klohn and husband Gerald, of Brownwood, Texas; Brenda Strong and husband Kenneth, of Lawton, Oklahoma; Jimmie Partee of Lawton; Terry Partee and wife Angie, of Fletcher, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren: Jerry Klohn, Steven Klohn, Amy Klohn, Kelly Sutphin, Tim Hicks, Terry Partee, Chris Partee, Ashley Partee and Codi Maguire; nine great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2007, with Rev. Jimmie Freeman officiating, and interment in the Holdenville Cemetery under direction of Fisher Funeral Home of Holdenville.

Funeral services for Jimmie Sue Williams, 70, Chickasha, will be 10:00 AM Thursday in the First Baptist Church, Fletcher, with Brother A.L. Swagerty, Fletcher, and Rev. Bud Jones, Pastor, First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Apache, officiating.

Mrs. Williams died Monday at her home.

Burial will be in the Fletcher Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Fletcher (Formerly Robbins Funeral Home).

She was born on July 17, 1937 in Chickasha to James E. and Loreva G. (Pollock) Carpenter. She graduated from Fletcher High School in 1955.

She married Bobby Love in Marietta, Oklahoma on July 28, 1955. He died in September of 1971. She married Orville Williams in Fletcher on May 31, 1997.
