BOYD LEATHERWOOD



Boyd Leatherwood passed away in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 72 on January 25, 2008. Boyd was born January 22, 1936 in Lindsay, OK to James and Hazel Leatherwood. Boyd loved taking care of his garden and tinkering around in his little shop where he was always making things. He also enjoyed fishing with his buddy Danny. Boyd had lived in the Alex area before going to the Shannon Springs Nursing Home eight years ago.

Boyd is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Donald and Jerry Leatherwood and one grandson Justin Boyd McMullen. He is survived by two daughters Kimberly and John Valerius of Gracemont, Oklahoma; and Dedra and Bobby McMullen of Alex, OK; two sons, Timothy and Kim Leatherwood of Alex, OK; and Scott and Dana Leatherwood of Rush Springs, OK; two sisters, Georgia Kell and Edward of Catoosa, OK; and Peggy Perdue of Oklahoma City, OK; two sister-in-laws, Darlene Leatherwood of Dibble, OK; and Mary Leatherwood of Erin Springs, OK. He is survived by 14 grandchildren, Glen, Kerri, Eric, Will, Jennifer, Jenna, Tiffany, Amanda, Hilory, Jeremy, Josh, Kyle, Shane and Brittany; six great-grandchildren, Triston, Angel, Samara, Abby, Megan, and Talon, and Alzoria Byford the mother of his children and her husband Luke of Chickasha, OK.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of B.G. Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.boydstonfuneralhome.com.
