Local Zumba instructors Amy Simer-Hughes, Kassity Jarnagin- King and Kenna Copeland will be raising funds for young cancer patient Audri King by teaching a Zumba class Saturday.
The class will meet from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Lincoln Elementary.
To participate in the class, the instructors are asking attendees for a minimum $10 donation for Audri.
The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program.
King is the 2-year old-daughter of Brandon and Janae King. She was diagnosed with embryonic rhabdomyosarcoma cancer on April 15, 2010.
She started her first of many chemotherapy treatments on April 16, 2010. She will have multiple treatments over the next year, several requiring five-day stays in the hospital.
