Semifinal matchups set at Grady County Tournament

MINCO — After Tuesday's games at the Grady County Tournament in Minco, the second-round matchups are set.

In the first game Tuesday, The Rush Springs girls beat Oklahoma Christian Academy 52-42.

Jacy Cullins was the Lady Redskins' leading scorer with 17 points. Dava Ballard scored 12, and Kaylee Large scored seven.

Rush Springs will play the Minco girls at 4 p.m. today in the semifinals. OCA will play Alex at 4 p.m. Friday in the consolation bracket.

The Verden boys beat OCA in the second game Tuesday, winning 48-31.

David Keil had 15 and Dusty Keil scored 14 for the Tigers. Tryston Morgan scored nine, and Tyler Amos added seven points.

The Tigers are scheduled to play Rush Springs at 5:30 p.m. Friday, while OCA will play Alex at 5:30 p.m. today.

In the final game of the night, the Amber-Pocasset boys beat Ninnekah 68-29.

Ryan Cauthen scored 21 points, 11 in the third quarter. Levi Prickett scored 17.

Am-Po will play Minco at 8:30 p.m. Friday, and Ninnekah will play Dibble at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
