Highlander offense too much to handle

Now Chickasha encounters another short week, with a trip to Ardmore coming up on Thursday. The Tigers are 3-0 in district, and their only loss came against Durant in a narrow 9-7 contest back in September. The Fightin' Chicks are in a tough spot to try and get out of their 1-2 district hole. Cobble said he thinks players benefit from a faster week, as the excitement of game day arrives at a good time.

"We went out in the rain and practiced," Cobble said. "Tuesday we'll work on polishing some things, and Wednesday we'll get ready to play Thursday. For the players, I think they like it more when it's a Thursday game."
