— The Chickasha High School boys basketball team will become the fourth team in the program since 1970 to play in the state tournament when it plays Southeast tonight in Sapulpa.

The Fightin' Chicks (16-10) went 1-1 in Regionals, beating Tahlequah 53-50 and losing to Coweta 69-46.

In Areas, Chickasha beat Guthrie 60-46 and then upset Bishop Kelley 44-41 last weekend to advance to the state tournament.
