Shawnee bites twice against Chickasha

Both the girls and boys basketball teams for Chickasha lost last Friday on their trip to Shawnee.

Dominique Alexander led the Lady Chicks with 11 points, but Shawnee was ruthless in their 68-35 win. Senior Alex Stewart also scored in double-digits with 10. The visitors were doubled up on in three of four quarters, as the Shawnee offense proved unstoppable on this night.

It was also a rough night for the Fightin' Chicks as they lost 77-46 in the boys' game. Chickasha will play one final away game tonight against Duncan before returning home against Carl Albert on Saturday. Both games are pending the forecasted inclement weather.
