Chickasha soccer is gearing up for the season with the preseason Chickasha Cup on Saturday.

At least ten teams will take part in the tournament held at the Chickasha Soccer Stadium, across from the Sports Arena near the high school, and east and west practice fields. Games run from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

The Fightin' Chicks are in a group with Star Spencer, Lawton, and a team yet to be determined since Lawton-Ike had to drop out earlier this week. They start with a 10 a.m. kickoff against Star Spencer at the Stadium before ending the day against Lawton at 8 p.m.

The Lady Chicks are paired with Duncan, Madill and a Lawton-Ike replacement. They'll start against Duncan at 8 a.m. before finishing against Madill in the 4 p.m. kickoff.

Bridge Creek girls will also be taking part in the tournament and face Elgin, Capitol Hill and US Grant.

Chickasha's regular season begins March 4 at home to Shawnee.
