Lady Chicks smash Spartans in season opener

Cauthen stepped onto the mound for the second game and found similar results. While she only managed one strikeout, Cauthen also gave up just two hits and had zero walks.

Neidy had another triple in the second game, with this one coming in the second inning with Chickasha already up 3-0. The outfielder was 2-for-2 in game two, with two runs and 2 RBI. Tristin Watkins went 1-for-2, with her only hit a single in the second inning that brought in two runs.

The game was settled appropriately for Chickasha, as Gore smashed one deep left-center for her first home run of the season that also brought in a run.
