Chickasha soccer to play Lawton Mac

— The Chickasha High School boys and girls soccer teams will continue trying to improve their district standing with a game at Lawton MacArthur on Friday.

The Lady Highlanders are ranked No. 15 in class 5A, and have an overall record of 4-4, and they are 4-1 in district play. Chickasha is 3-2 in district play, and can tie with MacArthur in the standings with a win.

The MacArthur boys are 6-4-1, and 4-1 in district play. The Highlanders have won three straight games.

Chickasha is also 4-1 in the district, meaning Friday's game could go a long way to clearing up the playoff picture.

The girls begin at 5:30, and the boys at 7:30 p.m.
