CHICKASHA —

Chickasha wrestlers head into Noble today off a duals win and some solid individual performances last week.

Senior Josh Latham will look to continue his unbeaten season. He helped Chickasha to a 47-25 win in Marlow last week, picking up a pin in his 195-pound division bout. Triston Hill won his match in the 160-pound division by decision. Riley Williams won the 182-pound class by pin, as did 113-pound Bret Stone, 145-pound Dalton Phillips and heavyweight Alex Scallion.

Dakota Resendez won his match in the 126-pound match in Marlow 5-3, and fellow sophomore Dominic Neff narrowly lost his match in the 138-pound division by decision.

The high school also traveled to Carl Albert High School for a tournament over the weekend. Latham went 4-0 to win the championship match 7-4. Hill won the consolation finals 7-3 to place third, while Riley Williams placed fourth.

Junior high wrestlers return home Jan. 24-25 for their Chickasha Invitational tournament. The high school and junior high then host a dual against Western Heights on Jan. 30.
