Am-Po hosts summer ball tourney

AMBER —

Amber-Pocasset will host seven teams in a summer baseball tournament starting today.

Newcastle and Dibble will start things off at 10 a.m. before three full days of baseball. The Demons also play Friday starting at 4 p.m. against Ada and Community Christian.

Hosts Am-Po start their tournament against Bridge Creek at 8 p.m. on Thursday before opening Friday with back-to-back games against Marlow and Washington. The Bobcats follow that up with their own game against Washington at 2 p.m.

The teams are divided into two pools and how they finish in those groups will determine what time they play Saturday. It starts with the fourth seeds at 11 a.m.

Thursday

Newcastle vs. Dibble, 10 a.m.

Ada vs. CCS, Noon

Ada vs. Newcastle, 2 p.m.

Marlow vs. Washington, 4 p.m.

Marlow vs. Bridge Creek, 6 p.m.

Am-Po vs. Bridge Creek, 8 p.m.

 

Friday

Marlow vs. Am-Po, 10 a.m.

Washington vs. Am-Po, Noon

Washington vs. Bridge Creek, 2 p.m.

Ada vs. Dibble, 4 p.m.

CCS vs. Dibble, 6 p.m.

CCS vs. Newcastle, 8 p.m.

 

Saturday

Fourth seeds, 11 a.m.

Third seeds, 1:30 p.m.

Two seeds, 4 p.m.

One seeds, 6:30 p.m.
