Several Chickasha athletes place at Cache meet

— The Chickasha High School track and field team competed in its fourth meet of the season, and some familiar names placed in Friday's meet at Cache High School.

Shaq Oliver tied for first in the high jump, marking the third straight meet that he has been first or tied for first, with a jump of 6 feet.

Hanna Fergason placed fourth in the girls long jump with a jump of 16 feet, 3.5 inches.

Fergason was also sixth in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing the race in 18.84 seconds.

Anthony Outhaithavy was fourth in the discus throw, earning a mark of 129 feet, 10 inches.

Bridge Creek sprinter Abby Mayfield placed third in the 200-meter dash in 27.06 seconds, and fifth in the 100-meter dash in 13.17 seconds.

She won the 400-meter dash in 1 minute, 0.99 seconds.

Dava Ballard of Rush Springs was fourth in the 200-meter dash in 27.09.

Chickasha's next meet is this Friday, April 12 at Yukon.
