Oliver takes high jump at second straight meet

— For the second-straight meet, Shaq Oliver won the boys high jump, beating the next opponent by two inches.

Oliver jumped 6 feet, eclipsing his March 12 jump of 5 feet 10 inches.

Chelci Oliver placed fourth in the 100 meter dash, running the race in 13.25.

Chickasha's girls 4x100 relay team placed fifth with a time of 52.37.

Hanna Fergason was fifth in the long jump, jumping 15 feet and 9.5 inches.

The boys 4x100 relay team placed fifth, clocking a 44.99.

Kyle McNatt earned third place in the long jump with a mark of 20 feet 9 inches.

Chickasha's girls finished 16th out of 20 teams, and the boys ended up 11th.

The Chicks' next meet is scheduled for Friday at Cache High School.
