Tuttle-Blanchard on collision course in playoffs

The ever-present Jacob Overton scored three touchdowns against Velma-Alma to get Minco through the first round, and he'll be asked to achieve something similar against Apache. The Warriors are no stranger to teams in the Bulldogs' district. They easily beat Carnegie and Crossings Christian en route to securing their playoff place. A 19-7 win over Fairview sent them through to face Minco.

Despite their record, Minco remains just outside of the teams considered favorites to win the Class A title. teams like Thomas, Morrison, Okeene, or Cashion.

 

B, Davenport (9-2) at Alex (11-0), 7:30 p.m.

The undefeated fifth-ranked Longhorns continue their march forward against ninth-ranked Davenport. Alex quarterback Dalton Alcorn comes into this game off a standout performance, going 10-14 for 200 yards and four touchdowns.
