The Cement boys got a valuable win in their homecoming game against Ninnekah last Friday, but the girls were not so lucky.

Talon Reynolds went off, sinking 27 points for the Bulldogs (2-2) in their 60-37 rout of Ninnekah (2-5). He was most productive from long-range, putting in six of 10 three-point shots. He also made all five of his foul shots while shooting 61 percent overall from the floor.

Michale Evans put in nine points and three assists for the Cement effort, and River Mink had eight points to go with 15 rebounds. The Bulldogs actually started things off by going behind, as Ninnekah led 13-9 after the first quarter. But the Cement defense tightened up to concede just five points in the second frame, and they scored 18 points at the other end to take a big lead into halftime. Cement scored 19 points off of 20 Owl turnovers.

Ninnekah did manage 21 points in the paint, and they were led in that effort by Clay Chaney's 10 points and 10 rebounds. Cody Reed almost followed him in step with 10 points and eight rebounds.

The Lady Owls (4-3) faired better on the road with a 42-34 win. A fast-paced game put Cement (1-4) off, with nearly half of Ninnekah's points coming on the fast-break.

Cheyenne Morris had 15 points and seven rebounds to lead the Lady Owls. A 13-4 deficit at the end of the first quarter sealed Cement's fate, as the teams finished the next three within one point of each other. The Lady Bulldogs didn't make matters any better with 25 turnovers.

Rayna Dinsmore added eight points to the Ninnekah cause while Rayna Dinsmore had seven. Sadie Higgins was the standout performer for Cement with a double-double (17 points and 13 rebounds). Elisha Coin had 16 rebounds to go with four points, and Brianne Madson put in six.
