Former Speaker TW Shannon will have a reception to benefit his campaign for U.S. Senate from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. tonight at 412 Fieldcrest Drive in Chickasha.

There will be a black and white sheep show/sale at 8 a.m. tomorrow at the Grady County Fairgrounds.

The Wellness Studio, at 4th Street and Kansas Avenue, will host a Paint on Canvas event from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow for $25.

The Grady County Baseball Tournament starts today at 12:30 p.m. when Rush Springs meets Alex at Amber-Pocasset High School. That's followed by Minco-Union City at 2:45 p.m. Verden-Ninnekah at 5 p.m. and Dibble-Am-Po in the late game at 7:15 p.m. Elimination games start on Friday when play in the consolation bracket begins along with the semifinals.

Chickasha starts play in the Carl Albert tournament today, which runs through to Saturday afternoon.
