Chickasha School Board member arrested, faces Peeping Tom charges

Chickasha Public Schools School Board Member, Ryan Copeland, was arrested this weekend after his wife, Raina Copeland, reported to the district attorney's office that he had naked videos of a female family member.

An affidavit from the DA's office states Raina had two separate disks for review.

"That in the first video, Mr. Copeland can be seen placing a video recording device in the room of the victim while she is in the shower," the affidavit reads. "That the victim exits the shower and enters the bedroom with the video device. That the victim disrobes from the towel and is naked in plain view of the video recording device. That the victim dresses in view of the recording device and opens the door of the bedroom. That after the victim leaves the area, Copeland returns and removes the video recording device."

The second video shows the victim disrobing from a swimsuit and is fully nude in view of the camera, according to the affidavit.

"That the victim walks to within a few inches of the recording device while naked," the affidavit reads.

Copeland can clearly be seen removing the recording device from where he placed it, according to the affidavit, and the victim does not appear to be aware of the device.

The affidavit reads Raina found the videos in the bottom of a gun safe on Jan. 21 and replaced them with blank disks, so as to not make Ryan aware she found them.
