Ten non-profit organizations serving Chickasha will share $124,522 in grants from the Chickasha Community Foundation.
Grant checks were handed out by CCF board member, Greg Elliott, at breakfast event held today.The Chickasha Community Foundation was created with a goal of providing a vehicle through which donors could connect to the charitable needs of the community. It was established in 2011 with a contribution of over $2.4 million from the Doris Wilk Trust. The Chickasha Community Foundation is governed by a local board of directors and administered through the Communities Foundation of Oklahoma.
