CHICKASHA — A 19-year-old man who was shot June 4 in Chickasha, is listed in stable condition today.

Shaquile Miller, who was allegedly shot by Chickasha resident Lorenzo Alexander, was transported to a trauma center in the Oklahoma City area Tuesday, after being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital.

"I am not sure what hospital he's at, but I spoke with one of the detectives investigation this case and he said all indications were that he was improving," Chickasha Police Department Chief Eddie Adamson said.

There were two search warrants executed yesterday, according to Adamson, to gather information on this case.

"We aren't ready to disclose any further information at this time, but detectives are taking statements and investigating the situation," he said.

Alexander was charged with intent to kill after CPD received a shots fired call in the 1300 block of Henderson.

An eye witness said Miller was shooting from a moving car at Alexander's father's house.

At the time, Alexander was reportedly in the front seat of his car and upon seeing Miller shooting at the house, shot Miller.

The witness's name has been omitted for their protection.

Miller was arrested three times in 2012 for various crimes.
