Today is expected to be sunny with a high of 82 and a low of 60. Tomorrow is expected to be sunny with highs in the mid-90s and lows in the upper 60s. Sunday (Mother's Day) is expected to have times of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 50s.


The Washita River Bottom Bluegrass Jubilee begins tonight and ends Sundayat 614 Reding Road. It's $15 per day for those above 11 years of age, and $40 for a weekend pass.

The Chickasha Antique Auto Swap Meet will wrap up tomorrow. It's at 712 E. Choctaw Ave.

The Junior Social Workers of Chickasha are hosting a Paint-on-Canvas fundraiser from 6-9 p.m. tomorrow at the Wellness Center in Chickasha. The cost to paint is $35.

The Bluegrass, Gospel, Country and Folk MusicFest will be from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow

The Pioneer High School and 8th Grade Reunion will be at noon tomorrow at the Pioneer School.

The Verden Annual Rabies Clinic will be from 9 a.m. to noon at the Community Building on N. Main Street. Rabies vaccines will be $8.

Tomorrow's Headlines

The Craig Meyer Walk for Special Olympics took off at full speed yesterday at the Chickasha High School football field. Betty Ann and Stewart Meyer organized the walk for their son, Craig, a volunteer for special olympics and pilot. They left today on a six-day walk to Stillwater to participate in the summer games.

The Chickasha Post Office is collecting food this weekend for their annual food drive. Leave non-perishable food at your mailbox or bring it into the post office.

The Friends of the Chickasha Library will hold their annual meeting May 15 at the USAO Alumni House at noon, celebrating an already successful start to the year. The annual summer luncheons are to begin soon as well. The luncheons will take place in the USAO Regents Room on May 15. Read more in tomorrow's issue of The Express-Star.
