A traffic stop took a dangerous turn yesterday when a man allegedly kept driving away from Chickasha police at a high speed until he crashed into a railroad trestle. Read more in tomorrow's issue of The Express-Star.

Area baseball teams have learned their district playoff pairings. Am-Po, Rush Springs and Verden will all host their first round playoff games, which all begin as early as tomorrow.

Chickasha basketball holds its annual banquet tonight at the Activity Center. The Chickasha boys will be looking back on their first year under head coach Nathan Pennypacker, while the girls will reminisce on their state tournament run and their last season under Christy Edelen. Edelen will depart the Lady Chicks team and Chickasha Public Schools at the end of the school year.
