A Chickasha homeowner's day took a dramatic turn yesterday, when the wife of a man he hired allegedly showed up at his residence intoxicated and argumentative.

Chickasha Police Officer Chad King said he was called to Derick Southwell's home and told that Annalynn Glass, the wife of Woody Glass who Southwell had hired to trim his trees, arrived there uninvited and drunk.

"Southwell said she began to argue with her husband and then began yelling and cursing at Southwell," King said.

He said he noticed Annalynn was unsteady on her feet when he approached her.

"I asked Annalynn if she had drank any alcohol and she told me a bottle of vodka," King said. "Annalynn's eyes were red and glassy looking, her speech was slurred and her sentences did not make sense."

Annalynn was arrested for public intoxication and taken to the Grady County Jail.
