Man drops off alcohol at Taco Bell, arrested at Arby's

A man was arrested for public intoxication and providing alcohol to a minor after he handed a bottle of alcohol to a minor at Taco Bell.

According to a report from the Chickasha Police Department, Lance Parks had asked a 19 year old Taco Bell worker for a cigarette. Parks then allegedly handed the worker a bottle and told her to put it in the freezer and save it for tomorrow. The worker, unsure what it was, gave the bottle to her boss, who told her it was alcohol. An officer later determined the contents were alcohol.

An Chickasha Police Officer then went to check the Arby's East of Taco Bell where the officer was told Parks was walking towards. The officer contacted an employee who said Parks had gone to the bathroom.

The officer made contact with Parks in the bathroom and asked him if he had just left Taco Bell and he said  yes. The officer told Parks someone said he may have given alcohol to a minor.

According to the affidavit, Parks became angry and denied giving alcohol to anyone. The officer reported that he detected a strong odor of alcohol on Parks' person and that Parks had red, watery eyes, slurred speech, and was unsteady on his feet. Parks became argumentative and would not cooperate, the report said.

Parks was arrested for public drunk and providing alcohol to a minor and transported to the Grady County Jail.
