Rush Springs PD investigating stabbing incident

CHICKASHA — A man allegedly stabbed a man after an argument with the victim's common-law wife on June 12 in Rush Springs.

Assistant District Attorney Kara Bacon said Nunn was formally charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon and his bond is set at $150,000.

Glen Crawford sustained multiple stab wounds and was taken to a hospital, according to an incident report. Rush Springs Police Chief Paul Markham said Crawford is in stable condition.

Crawford went to Karl Nunn's home to confront him about physically assaulting his common-law wife, then Nunn went in his house and returned with a knife, according to the report.

Nunn admitted to having the knife during the incident, but didn't remember stabbing Crawford, according to the report.

Officers confirmed Crawford was stabbed in the mid-section and neck/shoulder area, according to the report.

Markham said Rush Springs PD and the Grady County District Attorney's Office are investigating the incident.
