Chickasha Police investigating missing dog

CHICKASHA — Chickasha Police are investigating a report of a missing dog in the 600 block of S. 15th Street.

Chickasha Police Maj. Elip Moore said Gayla Briscoe reported her $800 male Doberman Pinscher was not in the pin she had left him in in her backyard when she looked Wednesday, but the door to the pin was still closed.

Moore said there was no sign the dog had dug his way out of the cage or that someone had broken into the backyard.

CPD Officer Ryan Rahlf said the dog is 5 years old and is a registered pedigree under the name Titus Von Ares.

The dog doesn't have an identification chip, Rahlf said.

Police processed the scene and are continuing the investigation, he said.

Those with any information on the case can call CPD at 405-222-6050.
