Safe Room project meeting July 11

— Those who missed the boat on previous safe room projects may still have a chance to provide shelter for themselves and their families.

Grady County Emergency Management recently received notice from the the Grady County Home Finance Authority of a county wide safe room program.

The program may have enough funds for as many as 25 storm shelters.

An upcoming meeting will outline the program, requirements, deadlines, construction requirements and payment information.

The public meeting will take place at noon and again at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 11 at the Canadian Valley Technology Center in Room B. Attendees need only go to one meeting.
