Deputies searching for Grady flasher

GRADY COUNTY — The Grady County Sheriff's office is warning about a man who is exposing himself and possibly attempting to abduct teenage females.

Undersheriff Rusty Pyles said a report was filed yesterday involving two girls riding four-wheelers when they noticed a pickup truck parked on an oil lease.

"For some reason the girls became concerned about the vehicle and decided to ride away," Pyles said. "The vehicle then proceeded to follow them, even bumping them from behind before pulling over and stopping in front of them. A naked man then jumped out of the vehicle and tried to grab one of the girls by the arm."

Pyles said Sheriff Jim Weir noted this incident mimicked similar crimes from three years ago.

"Jim said there were three similar reports taken three years ago and that the suspect in those reports was never caught,"said Pyles.

The suspect could have been incarcerated for other crimes, have moved away or been receiving help, which would contribute to the break between the incidents, according to Pyles.

"We think he may live in the area, which is why it's so difficult to find him," Pyles said.

The suspect is a white male, approximately 5’11, 200 pounds, late 30s early-40s, balding hair, glasses and a scruffy beard. He is driving a maroon pickup, late 90s, early 2000s with a white sticker on the passenger side windshield.

The vehicle was last seen driving Southbound on County Street 2940 from County Road 1270.

Citizens with any information on this man or vehicle are encouraged to contact the Grady County Sheriff’s Office with any information at 405-224-0984, or the Crime Stoppers phone line at 405-224-8477 to maintain anonymity.
