Chickasha boys head basketball coach Nathan Pennypacker has submitted his resignation for approval by the Board of Education in their regular meeting next week. It is understood Pennypacker will look to pursue other opportunities. Pennypacker spent just one season with the Fightin' Chicks. More on this story as it develops.

Amber-Pocasset senior outfielder Ethan James has been selected to play on the All-State Small West baseball team. The game takes place at 4:30 p.m. on July 29 at Oral Roberts University.
