Cement man killed in single car accident

CHICKASHA — A Cement man was killed Monday night after he struck a tree in a Ford F250.

Curtis Baker (33) failed to negotiate a turn on County Street 2790, just north of U.S. Highway 277. A report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol states Baker sustained massive injuries from the wreck and, died at the scene.

"The driver was pinned for 2 hours and 21 minutes before being freed by the Pioneer Fire Department's Jaws of Life," the report reads.

Baker was believed to be driving at unsafe speeds without his seatbelt equipped.
