Community Dinner
What: Free hot dogs, chips & tea
When: Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009; 5 p.m.
Where: Ninnekah HS cafeteria
Details: Ninnekah High School staff welcomes the community to support the Owls before their home opener against Fletcher. During the game there will be a silent auction. Proceeds will reward students who keep their grades at or above a C. Donations will be accepted at the dinner. For information, call Kim Dinsmore at 224-4299.

TEA Party Express II Bus Tour
When: Wednesday, Nov. 4, 6 p.m.
Where: State Capitol in OKC
Details: The bus tour has gone coast-to-coast, city-to-city, to let Washington know we are here to talk to them about the direction our country is taking.

Grady County Democratic Party fundraiser
When: Thursday, November 5, 2009, 6:00 pm
Where: Community Building of the Grady County Fairgrounds
Details: The guest speaker will be Frosty Troy, past long time owner and editor of the Oklahoma Observer. State Representative Joe Dorman, Chair (GCDP) will officiate. Adult Learning Center
What: Oklahoma high school diploma exam schedule
When: Nov. 10 & 12, 2009
Where: GED Test Site, Adult Learning Center, 628 Kansas Ave., Chickasha.
Cost: $65 Test Fee; $40 Retest Fee. Everyone is required to call and reserve a testing date. A rescheduling fee of $25 will be added for those failing to give 24 hours cancellation notice.
Details: Photo I.D. required to complete the application and each time to take the Exam. The Exam begins at 5:30 p.m. Apply in person at the Adult Learning Center or at one of the other class sites. Blood Drive

Lions Club music show
What: The Chickasha Lions Club hosts the return of The Plummer Family Country Music Show.
When: Thursday, November 12 at 7:30 PM
Where: Chickasha High School Activity Center auditorium.
Details: Join us for a great evening of fun and family entertainment with the phenomenal Plummer Family of Branson, Missouri. This talented all-star cast of performers features traditional country & gospel music combined with outrageous comedy fun. The show is laced with zany comedy, jokes and silly stories. The Plummer Familyνs performance in Chickasha is co-sponsored by Haystack Productions and the Chickasha Lions Club.

UMC Fall Festival
When: Thursday, Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Where: Epworth United Methodist Church
Details: The annual lunch will be held will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The menu will consist of chicken and rice, green beans, salad, bread, cake at a cost of $7.00. Come and shop at Granny's Attic and then shop booths for home baked goodies and miscellaneous items.

Grady Co. OHCE craft/quilt show
When: Nov. 13-14, 2009
Where: Grady Co, Fairgrounds, north building
Details: There will be a viewer's choice award for a favorite quilt exhibit, and a viewer's choice award for the special exhibit quilt which is "wedding ring" quilts this year. The Churndasher Quilt Guild will also have a drawing for a raffle quilt at the close of the show, which will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Top 10 Show Pig Sale
When: November 14, 5 p.m.
Where: Am-Po Show barn, Hwy. 92 & Main St. in Amber, got 2 blocks east and one block south.

LifeLine Hospice Memorial Service
