US-81 to narrow to one-lane near Minco

US-81 will be narrowed to one lane from Minco to Union City beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, October 31, for surface work associated with ongoing bridge construction.

Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic.

Wide loads of 10 feet or more will be prohibited in this area and will be forced to turn around.

Normal traffic operations are expected to resume Saturday evening following completion of the surface work.

Drivers should expect delays and avoid the area, if possible.
