Published October 10, 2008 03:26 pm - United Methodist Women met for their monthly meeting with President Lavern Powell asking for a report from the nominating committee.
The program was given by Mary Greelee, South Oklahoma City District Treasurer, from Moore, OK.
She thanked the members for their world offering contribution. As District Treasurer she outlined how the money would be used. Several money raising events have been held to go toward work with missions. Yublanah James reported that $3,000 would be sent to Rio Bravo, Mexico for their building funds.
For the Nov. and Dec. meetings, large cans of vegetables will be brought by the members.
The UMW Luncheon and Bazaar will be held Nov. 13.
