Ninnekah gets new sign

Jason Clarke
The Express-Star

Ninnekah Public Schools has a new electronic marquee. The sign was physically installed Thursday morning. Crews attempted to begin installation of the wiring on Friday, Superintendent Todd Bunch, but had to stop due to weather issues. Bunch said the sign will be illuminated, but it may be a few days before the school can use the marquee. Once functional, the sign is set to regularly display the school menu for the district. This provision allowed school administration to use excess money in their child nutrition fund to help purchase the sign. Bunch said he also would like to thank Chickasha Bank and Trust for sponsoring the sign. Crews work to install the new sign. Bunch stands with the recent addition to the district.
