Published July 03, 2008 05:25 pm - The Chickasha Arts Council will host the July 4th Family Fun Festival on Friday at Shannon Springs Park.
The official starting time is 3 p.m. and will last until a fabulous fireworks display presented by several local businesses.

The Chickasha Arts Council will host the July 4th Family Fun Festival on Friday at Shannon Springs Park.
The official starting time is 3 p.m. and will last until a fabulous fireworks display presented by several local businesses.
There will be a mechanical bull and a bungee jump with both offering difficulty levels for all ages. An inflatable obstacle course completes the physical activities.
CAAC will be headquartered in the bathhouse and will once again provide free craft projects for children under the age of 12. Chalk art drawing will be available in the area behind the bathhouse.
Vendors will feature crafts, novelties, gifts and many other items. Children will enjoy the antics of Pepper the Clown and face painting. One of Chickasha’s finest barbeque vendors will be on hand along with sno-cones and shaved ice.
Blues Extravaganza will provide a free concert beginning at 6 p.m.
