Famous pianist to perform at FBC
A world famous concert pianist will play at 10:30 a.m. July 4 at First Baptist Church of Chickasha
Dino Kartsonakis will present a free patriotic program at FBC, 324 W. Colorado.
A special salute will be made to local military personnel and veterans, as well as local law enforcers.
JCC Academy now enrolling
The JCC Academy, a new Christian school option for students K-12, is now accepting enrollment applications for a limited number of students.
If you missed our early enrollment deadline to submit your transfer application, you may still be able to join us this fall.
The JCC Academy is the first private school program in our area to offer online curriculum as well as our standard curriculum, beginning the 2009-2010 school year.

Concert set for Ampitheater
The West Coast Quartet will have a concert at 7 p.m. July 24 at Shannon Springs Ampitheater. Admission is free.
There will be refreshments for purchase before the concert begins. The concert, part of the Chickasha Campaign for Christ, is sponsored by Calvary Baptist Church.
Locals host sports ministry
All children, youth, and teens are welcome at the Fellowship of American Indian Church VBS/Sports Ministry from June 29 to July 3. Activities last from noon to 5 p.m. each day.

DivorceCare meets at Epworth
DivorceCare, a weekly support group and seminar conducted by people who undestand divorce, meets from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Sunday at Epworth United Methodist Church in the New Life Center, north door.
DivorceCare is nondenominational and features Biblical teaching for recovering from divorce or separation. A different topic is highlighed each week. Child care is available.

Concerts planned for Borden Park
Dennis Boyd and Small Town Country will play from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Tuesday at the Borden Park Community Center.
True Country to play at Borden
True Country will play from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Thursday p.m. at the Borden Park Community Center.
Line Dance lessons offered
Free line dance lessons are being offered at Best Western Inn in Chickasha, 2101 S. 4th St., across the street from McDonalds.
Classes meet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the first and third Monday of every month in the banquet room. Beginners and all ages are welcome. Door prizes and refreshments are served. Bring the entire family and enjoy the fun, it’s great exercise.

REUNIONS
The McMasters/Massey Family Reunion will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 11 at the Borden Community Center, 200 North 18th Street in Chickasha.

Family reunion set for July 4
The Adams-Smith-McCaleb-Gainer-Kinard family reunion will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 4 at the Lindsay Golf Course near the lake in the picnic area.
To get there, go north on S. H. 76 about two-and-a-half miles north of Lindsay on the west side of the road. Follow access road in golf course to the lake area.

‘59 reunion planned
The CHS Class of 1959 will celebrate its 50th reunion at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 at Cottonwood Creek’s 50s Diner, formerly the Country Club, and also on Sept. 26 for dinner in the USAO ballroom.
Time and costs will be announced at a later date.

Ogles plan reunion July 12
The 79th Ogle Family Reunion will start at 9 a.m. July 12 at the Grady County Fairgrounds Building.
At 9 a.m. on that Sunday, coffee and rolls will be served for those who would like to visit. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.
Participants should bring their favorite foods. Drinks will be provided.
The John and Ora Barrett family will host the event. Guests are welcome.
Rogers family reunion set for July 11
The J. E. and Doshie Rogers Family and Friends 64th reunion will be held in the middle building of the Grady County Fairgrounds beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 11. There will be door prizes and the Boggy River Bluegrass Band will perform. Bring your favorite dish. Iced tea and coffee will be provided.

Autism group to meet
The Autism Spectrum Disorder Group, parents, caregivers and teachers, meets at 7 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of the month at facilitated by Options Counseling Service, Inc., 420 W.
