plans Saturday
Gospel singing
Tabler Gospel Tabernacle, located nine miles east of Chickasha on Hwy. 39, will host its third Saturday night singing at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 20.
The event will feature a variety of music and singers.
Because of the road construction on Hwy 39, take the detour off of Hwy 62 on CR 2930 to get back on Hwy 39, and the church is a quarter-mile on the right.
Pastors are Bill and Pat Embrey and emcee is Laverne Goodnight invite the public to attend.

Cattleman celebrates 93rd
Ninnekah resident J. C. Schlect, a longtime county cattleman and farmer, will celebrate his 93rd birthday today.
He and his family will accept visitors between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. for an “at home” birthday party at his rural Ninnekah home.

‘59 class reunion planned
The CHS Class of 1959 will celebrate its 50th reunion at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 at Cottonwood Creek’s 50s Diner, formerly the Country Club.
There will also be a dinner on Sept. 26 for dinner in the USAO ballroom.
Time and costs will be announced at a later date.

Ogles plan reunion July 12
The 79th Ogle Family Reunion will start at 9 a.m. July 12 at the Grady County Fairgrounds Building.
At 9 a.m. on that Sunday, coffee and rolls will be served for those who would like to visit.
Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Participants should bring their favorite foods.
Drinks will be provided. The John and Ora Barrett family will host the event. Guests are welcome.
Line dance lessons offered
Free line dance lessons are being offered at Best Western Inn in Chickasha, 2101 S. 4th St., across the street from McDonalds.
Classes meet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the first and third Monday of every month in the banquet room. Beginners and all ages are welcome.
Door prizes and refreshments are served.
Bring the entire family and enjoy the fun, it’s great exercise.

Autism group to meet
The Autism Spectrum Disorder Group, parents, caregivers and teachers, meets at 7 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of the month at facilitated by Options Counseling Service, Inc., 420 W. FBC hosts concert
First Baptist Church, 324 W. Colorado in Chickasha, will play host to world renowned concert pianist Dino Kartsonakis at 10:30 a.m. July 5. Dino will be presenting his patriotic program at First Baptist. This is a free concert.
Pentecostals offer VBS
There will be a Vacation Bible School at the United Pentecostal Church, 1706 S. 12th St., from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 22-26.
Care grou[ meets at Epworth
DivorceCare, a weekly support group and seminar conducted by people who undestand divorce, meets from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Sunday at Epworth United Methodist Church in the New Life Center,, north door. DivorceCare is nondenominational.
