—
As part of the Summer Reading Program going on at Chickasha Public Library, Magician Steve Crawford will be performing at Centennial Park, Seventh and Texas, on Thursday, June 21, 2007, at 10 a.m. In case of rain the performance will be held at the library. This program is geared toward children ages six through 11.
Reservations are required for the indoor performance due to limited seating. Please call the library and speak to Lillie Huckaby, the Children's Librarian to make a reservation just in case. "Hopefully we'll be able to be at the park," says Lillie, "and have a great time."
Steve Crawford, Master Magician and Comedian, is currently touring libraries across the state, providing an excellent magic program with lots of audience participation. In this year's program, "Kaleidoscope of Magic," Steve entertains and educates with side-kicks, "Presto the Magic Rabbit" and "Einstein, the guinea pig." Children will learn how he got his start in magic by learning from books in his hometown library. Attendees are encouraged to read books about the history of Oklahoma, as well as, books that relate to their own hobbies and interests. This 45 minute show promises to be the most exciting program of the summer.
Steve Crawford is amazing. He has given thousands of electrifying performances, including opening for Alice Cooper and performing at Sea World in San Diego, CA. He is the undisputed world record holder in speed escapes from regulation handcuffs and has won two national magician competitions.
Steve's shows are packed with plenty of comedy, fun, and surprises. His program is guaranteed to please.
