Ninnekah OHCE
to sponsor rabies clinic
The 27th Annual Rabies Clinic, sponsored by the Ninnekah OHCE, will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 6 at the new Ninnekah City Hall. Rabies vaccinations for cats and dogs will be available for a nominal fee and other vaccinations will be available upon request. City tags will also be available for $3, and residents are reminded animals in the city limits must be tagged. For more information, call 222-0201 or 574-6447.
Michigan Ave. Baptist
to host Bible school
Michigan Avenue Baptist Church, 728 Michigan Ave., will host Vacation Bible School from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. June 10-12. The theme is “Boomerang Express: It all comes back to Jesus.” All are welcome. Children may sign up for VBS at the cookout at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9. Friday, June 12 is family night. County interagency,
coalition to meet
The Grady County Interagency and Community Coalition meets from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17 at CVTC. This month, Susan Winchester, the district’s former Oklahoma state representative, will speak. All Grady County residents and agencies or businesses are invited to attend. You will hear what coalition is planning for this summer and how you can become involved to help area children, seniors and others in Grady County live safer, healthier and happier lives. Christian Academy
to host VBS
The Christian Academy has scheduled Vacation Bible School, themed “The Battle Belongs to the Lord,” for children ages four years through sixth grade at Ninnekah Church of Christ, 609 W. Hwy 277. plans yard and bake sale
Maranatha Baptist Church, 1505 S. 29th St., will have a yard and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 6. Proceeds help send students to church camp.
Ogles family plan
reunion for July 12
The 79th Ogle Family Reunion will start at 9 a.m. July 12 at the Grady County Fairgrounds Building. At 9 a.m. on that Sunday, coffee and rolls will be served for those who would like to visit. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Participants should bring their favorite foods. Drinks will be provided. Guests are welcome.

reunion scheduled

Pom Chicks to hold
car wash, bake sale
On Saturday, June 6, the CHS Pom Chicks will host a car wash and bake sale at Dave's Cave at 527 S. 4th St. in Chickasha from 8 a.m to 2 p.m. All proceeds will go toward pom camp expenses.

The Pentecostal Church of God, 1028 N. 11th St. in Chickasha, will meet in revival June 7-12. Round-Up for June 18
The Grady County Republicans will sponsor a roundup at 6 p.m. June 18 at the Grady County Fairgrounds. The keynote speaker will be Senate President Pro Tempore Glen Coffee. County and state elected officials will be introduced during the evening. Cost is $10 per person or $100 per table with seating for 10. Art at the Rock
fundraiser this month
Art at the Rock, a Chickasha Area Arts Council fundraiser, is scheduled for Saturday, June 20 at the home of Leman and Louise Spoon, at 29th and Grand. Tickets are $40 per person.
