Gary and Tammy Monroe of Chickasha, Oklahoma announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Lindsey Paige Monroe, to Mr. Chad Aaron Riddle, son of Rick and Berylene Riddle of Woodward, Oklahoma.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Donald and Charlotte Monroe of Amber, Oklahoma, Deloris Rodgers and the late Glen Rodgers of Chickasha, and Ron and Merry Douglas of Chickasha.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Luke Riddle and Faye Riddle of Woodward and the late Beryl and Ruth Gray.

Miss Monroe is a 2003 graduate of Amber-Pocasset High School and attended Northern Oklahoma College on a basketball scholarship and received her Associates degree in 2005. She then attended the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, Oklahoma on a basketball scholarship and received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2007. She is currently employed by Farmers Insurance in Oklahoma City.

Mr. Riddle is a 2003 graduate of Woodward High School and attended Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, Oklahoma on a baseball scholarship and received his Associate degree in 2005. He will graduate from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree in December, 2008.

The couple will exchange vows at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday June 14, 2008 at the First Christian Church in Chickasha with reception immediately following at the Holy Name Catholic Church Activity Center. The bride and groom wish to invite all friends and family to attend. After a honeymoon in Cancun they will make their home in Edmond, Oklahoma.
