Amber to hold 74th reunion

The Amber Alumni and Former Student Reunion will hold their 74th annual meeting on Saturday, April 25 at the Am-Po Auditorium in Amber.

All graduates of Amber High School, Am-Po High School, all former students, family members, guests, former and present teachers and school board member are urged to attend. Doors will open at 3 p.m. on the east side of the auditorium for registration and visiting. A short business meeting with recognition of classes and guests will be held at 5 p.m. in the auditorium. A catered dinner will be served at 6 p.m. in the Cafeteria.

The classes of 1969, 1964, 1959, 1954, 1944, 1939, and 1934 will be honored. Members of these classes will be presented with certificates. The graduate who travels the greatest distance to attend and the graduate representing the earliest graduating class from Amber High School will also be honored.

For the past seventeen years our Alumni Association has awarded scholarships to graduates of Amber-Pocasset High School.

Since the meal will be catered, it is necessary to know approximately how many will attend. Please make your reservations no later than April 23. Reservation fees are $15 per person, which covers all expenses. Please make checks payable to Amber Alumni Association. If you wish to send payment in advance for the meal and scholarship, you may combine them on one check bu send a note stating how it is to be distributed. Should your mailing address change at any time, please notify us so we can keep our mailing list as accurate as possible. Our budget is limited and it helps immensely to have a correct address. Also, if you have any class pictures you would like to bring, a table will be available for display.
