Gospel concert set to benefit Resurrection House

The Resurrection House in Chickasha will be presenting a benefit concert featuring the award-winning southern gospel group “Gold City” on Saturday, April 4 at 7 p.m. in the Chickasha High School Activity Center. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children. Call 243-7252 to order tickets. Barbecue dinners will be sold at 5:30 p.m. The Resurrection House is a homeless shelter which houses men, women and families, provides three meals a day and also provides all the necessities. Cox City sets revival
Pastor Bill Love of the Cox City Baptist Church offers a special invitation to attend revival meetings on April 5-8, Sunday morning through Wednesday. There will be a potluck lunch Sunday at noon and the community is cordially invited to share this fellowship.Time of the services will be Sunday morning at 11 a.m. and Sunday night at 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday the services will begin at 7 p.m. Pastor Love urges you to attend these services and receive a spiritual blessing. Pastor Kent Wooster of the Rosedale Baptist Church will be preaching and Kevin Beam from Erin Springs Baptist Church in Lindsay will be our song leader commented Pastor Love.
Something Worthwhile
A delightful evening for all ladies. Please join us on Tuesday, April 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Epworth Church Life Center for a home-cooked meal, delightful music and meaningful message. There will be a beautiful musical program by Liz Reiter, Director, and the St. Gregory’s University Liturgical Dancers. An inspirational message titled Hope-or Dancing with a Cat will be given by Elizabeth Johnson. Reservation deadline is Wednesday, April 8. The cost is $4 for the meal, which can be paid at the door. FCC sets Easter events
First Christian Church, 202 South 6th Street, will be holding Easter worship experiences for all. April 9, Maundy Thursday, 6 p.m., Seder Dinner and Service with Epworth in FCC Fellowship Hall. April 9-10, 24 Prayer Vigil starting at 7 p.m., Thursday concluding 7 p.m. Friday. April 10 is Good Friday, with service 7 p.m. April 11 is the Egg Hunt at 11:30 a.m. (bring sack lunch). Church to hold sale
The House of Lord Church in Chickasha will hold a garage sale beginning at 7 a.m. at 201 E. Almar (Winds of Oak Ridge Apartments) on Saturday, April 4. Proceeds will go to the Children’s Ministry.
Acapella singing set
The 9th and Colorado Church of Christ will have an acapella singing on Saturday, April 4, 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
Amber FBC sets sale
The First Baptist Church of Amber will hold a church-wide garage sale beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 4 in the Grady Baptist Association’s parking lot. Proceeds will go toward mission trip.
Lenten dinner today
Holy Name Catholic Church, 214 S. 7th St., will hold a fish and shrimp dinner on Fridays during Lent from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. through April 3. Adults are $7, children are $3. To go orders are available.
Bible study to meet
The Chickasha Bible study group will meet at the Chickasha Library at 7:30 p.m. every Monday. Everyone is welcome and refreshments will be served.
Radio invites fellowship

Clothing available
The Resurrection House, 823 Choctaw, is offering free clothing to men, women and children. This is your last chance to get winter clothes. Some household items are also available.
