Well patients advised to rethink visits

Patients who are scheduled for a routine visit to their Doctor at Five Oaks Medical Group may want to reschedule their visit for a week to two from now. This is especially true for mothers who have well-baby checkups scheduled.

Doctors are dealing with a large number of patients who are suffering from the flu, from an intestinal virus, an upper respiratory virus and pneumonia. Each of these illnesses are spread close contact.

Several of the doctors at Five Oaks have also come down with symptoms of these illnesses, so staff who are working have very heavy patient schedules.

However, if you are sick, please see your doctor. The flu can be deadly if left untreated.
