Reader: Powell nailed it
in letter to recent letter
Kim Powell nailed it in her letter to the Editor.
It is so disgusting to have so much disrespect for our President. Yes, he inherited a mess that was much worse than we, or even he, knew.
It’s time the Tea Partiers and Birthers quit their junk and let the president and his advisors get on with what needs to be done.
What is being accomplished by saying no to everything? We know they’re out to try and take the President down, and hopefully they won’t take the United States of America with them.
Local theater proves
to be a source of pride
Letter To The Editor:
I am by no means a critic of the theater. I am also very hard to impress, as many of you know. We attended the premier production of “Once Upon A Mattress” on Friday 13, 2010 at the new/old Washita Theater in downtown Chickasha.
My goodness I was very impressed, not only with the facility but with the talent of all the cast members. With 95 degree heat outside, the theater was very comfortably cool, nice seating, and the ushering was commendable. The acoustics were wonderful. We also enjoyed time to visit with people we haven’t seen for a while.
We are very proud of the new addition to the downtown community with such exquisite productions and will continue to support these efforts in the future. We hope you all will too.
Be proud Grady County of the Chickasha Community Theater.
Let’s work hard to get back to the all American city we have been in the past.
